Because he also earned $30k for busting 6 bounty players, he earned the nickname 'The Bounty Hunter'. I wouldn't be surprised if the six pros he busted during that tournament wished he were at home playing flash Texas Holdem so that he couldn't knock them out!

Cantu's live tournament cashes add up to over $3.4 million. He's on Team UB, though, so you'd think that he must sometimes play in online casinos for USA players. Unlike a lot of the other players I've written about in my blog, he actually doesn't spend that much time playing on money poker sites as he's always been primarily a live player. This does not mean that he doesn't play online at all, however. He went for the obvious choice of 'brandoncantu' for his UB screen name, and he plays tournaments and a bit of high stakes cash.
